| The Material... | It is important to be specific
as possible about the material type since
even
similar grades will grind much differently. |
| Stress Relieve... | In general, if the part has a flatness tolerance, the material should be thermally stress relieved or Sullivan can not guarantee results. This will also insure that once the parts are ground flat, they will remain flat after shipment to the end user. |
| Parallel Tolerance... | Parallel tolerance is the is the acceptable variation between the TWO surfaces of the plate. |
| Flatness Tolerance... | Flatness tolerance is the acceptable variation between ONE surface of the plate and an imaginary plane. |

will insure tolerances of your project:
Clean up Two Sides (No flatness tolerances) Two Sides to Size, (No Flatness Tolerance) Two Sides to Size with Flatness Tolerances |
